It's spring!

So the weather here has been getting better and better. I leave the house at 6:30am and it's already 60 degrees out and it only gets warmer. But i love it. The gardens on campus are full of colorful flowers, and the trees are blooming so the campus looks really colorful.
School has been frustratingly stressful, I had two tests last week, and another two this week. But I only have 3 weeks left of classes and some finals.
The last week was both amazingly good and terribly bad. I'm no longer majoring in engineering, but at the same time I don't know what i'm majoring in right now. I also got a job last week, i have training this week, so that should be fun, and i'll start working soon.
I've been wanting to go home really bad lately, see a lot of people and have a sense of normalcy again, but it'll have to wait until june i'm afraid. But i'm hoping that it moves as fast as this semester has.

Update!

Haha, so i haven't updated very recently, but to give a quick look i've been busy with classes and tests, that's really it. I found that all my finals end the 15th of may which the end of the first week of finals which is lucky for me. :) Though i don't know when i'll be going back to LI yet. I find out this week if i got into the school of engineering, this will be the marking point where i get to say, "Yes! I know what i'm majoring in!" if i don't get in, well i'll be considering a few options so let's hope i got in.
Not much else going on, i have at least one test every week from last week til the first week of may, and then its finals week so i'm feeling mostly loaded here lol.
Well that's pretty much it, i'll update by the end of the week, in good hopes lol

AHHHHH

So i haven't really gotten a chance to post lately. Even though last week was spring break i was busy running errands and doing other stuff. I rearranged my room so now it looks bigger and brighter, so that was exciting and a long project. I meant to unpack a huge box that i have sitting in my corner, but that never happened. I went into town last week as well and got my parking permit to be able to park on campus, its making things easier now. I also headed up north a bit last week to have lunch with my sister and try the pizza that was named after her at the local pizza place. It's some of most decent pizza that Austin has to offer, though it is still no comparison to NY pizza.
I've also started donating plasma since i get to do it more often than donating blood, but its still an awesome thing. Though make sure you eat well before going, and don't risk getting light headed while donating. (it happened to me the first time lol)

So school has been back for a week, and it's been a long and stressful week. It was my sisters birthday yesterday and i cooked her a nice meal. I used ingredients that were new to me so it was cool and exciting. I also have a few plans for tonight, and i'm excited about a visitor that i'm getting this weekend from San Antonio.

Well i have to start paying attention to class, but i'll catch you all (never ya'll) up soon. :)

One more day

So...
I had my calculus midterm not too long ago. It went well kind of. Tonight i have my chemistry midterm, that one has me on edge. But next week is spring break and I'm excited to be off, I'll be relaxing some and reorganizing my room.
I will be getting my car this week, so i'll post pictures when i get it.

A real post

So Austin woke up this morning nice and warm, 59 at 6am, but foggy and wet. Classes have been going fine. I have two finals this week, calc and chem so i'll be holing up in the library for hours. Next week is spring break, and hopefully i'll have my car by then so that i can go to Six Flags with Ashley, and maybe visit a friend in San Antonio.

I have been trying to change my outlook on life and make it more positive. I'm going for forgive and forget; and not holding grudges. Also for letting things take their own course and just waiting for things to play out. I'm done trying to always make things work, and it makes sense that i start telling myself that not everything is what I'd like it to be.

That's pretty much it for now. Long week ahead, but can't wait for spring break.
